By accessing or using FRED - AI Home Tutor, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws.

2. Description of Service

Fred provides:

• AI tutoring for Nigerian (JSS1-SSS3), British (Year 7-13), and American (Grade 7-12) curricula
• Homework assistance with image scanning
• Exam preparation tools (WAEC, NECO, JAMB, IGCSE, SAT, ACT)
• Learning analytics and progress tracking
• Parent & teacher dashboards
• Fred Mail educational email service
• Interactive educational content and practice questions

3. User Eligibility

• Students ages 10-18 (JSS1-SSS3, Year 7-13, Grade 7-12) may use Fred with permission from a parent, guardian, or school.
• Parents and teachers may create linked accounts to monitor progress.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Fred Mail accounts are provided to registered users and subject to the same terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Fred only for lawful educational purposes
• Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
• Not misuse or attempt to hack or exploit the platform
• Not upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Not use Fred to cheat in exams or assessments

5. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute Fred's technology
• Use Fred for commercial tutoring without written consent
• Upload harmful code (malware, viruses)
• Harass, bully, or impersonate others
• Use Fred to harm minors or violate child protection laws

6. Fred Mail Service

Fred Mail provides students with an @learnwithfred.com email address for educational purposes.

Acceptable Use

• Communication with teachers, classmates, and educational institutions
• Receiving educational newsletters and updates
• School-related correspondence

Prohibited Use

• Spam, bulk messaging, or commercial solicitation
• Sending offensive, harmful, or illegal content
• Using Fred Mail for non-educational purposes
• Sharing account credentials with others

7. AI Limitations

Fred provides AI-generated explanations and solutions.

While highly accurate, AI may occasionally:

• Produce errors
• Misinterpret questions
• Provide incomplete solutions

• Academic grades
• School decisions
• Misinterpretation of answers
• Inaccurate content occasionally generated by AI

8. Subscription and Payments

• Premium features require a paid subscription
• Fees must be paid upfront and are non-refundable unless required by law
• We may adjust prices with prior notice
• Failure to pay may result in account suspension

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform is the property of FinovaSphere Technologies, including:

• Logos
• Interface design
• AI models
• Lesson materials
• Learning content
• Branding

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Breach of Terms
• Harmful behavior
• Illegal activity
• Abusive use of AI
• Security concerns

You may also delete your account anytime.

11. Limitation of Liability

Fred is provided "as is" without warranties.

We are not liable for:

• Inaccurate AI responses
• Academic performance outcomes
• Service interruptions
• Unauthorized access due to user negligence

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and protect Fred/FinovaSphere from claims arising from:

• Misuse of the platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any applicable laws

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of:

• The Federal Republic of Nigeria
• AND International laws applicable to digital platforms
